We Love Katamari Damacy Too!

Someone made a Katamari out of Playdough. Good work! (I think?)

These people are selling brilliant Katamari T-shirts in every country except the UK. The only reason it justifies a posting is that the Katamari creator man endorsing them has exactly the same feelings we have about game T-shirts in general.

This is the design on the front.

And here's the sell:

Well said. Nothing scares us more than men in baggy black game T-shirts, emblazoned with 'ironic' logos.

Apart from girls wearing Blizzcon T-shirts.

Tenuous, admittedly, but here's a screen capture of The Simpsons I found that appears to show Rod and Todd Flanders getting rolled up in to a Katamari by Homer. Bet that's a funny episode.

This website offers woolen Katamari hats for sale. They're a bit Glastonbury Festival.

This is the sort of thing I'd like to see more of. People dressing up as The Prince.

This family are doing what is known as 'cosplay'. It's beautiful.

Look! A knitted Katamari iPod Holder!

You can't actually buy this, but if you know anyone with handicraft skills you could always persuade her to make one for you. It is by all accounts, slightly gay.
I found a great picture of the inspiration for Katamari's Swiss roll shaped head.

Apparently she's a 1930's modern dance instructor called Ruth St. Denis. At least that's what the Internet says anyway. From now on she'll be known only as QUEEN KATAMARI.
This is my attempt at a fansite/blog for Katamari Damacy. If you got the link from the magazine, welcome! Here's the web site you saw me making. For anyone out of the loop on KD it's a ball rolling game that stars the King and the Prince.

There are two games. Katamari Damacy (only came out in Japan) and We Love Katamari Damacy (out now). In the first game The King Of The Cosmos destroys the world in a drunken accident and dispatches his son, the Prince, to roll all the bits of the universe back up again into balls (the Katamari). In the sequel The King and The Prince are now famous due to their exploits in the first outing. Now the game revolves around The King and The Prince pleasing their fans with their ball rolling escapades.

This is The Prince in real life.

This is the King in the game. He's mental.

You can buy the game here. I highly advise it.
